S.A.D.F.A Natal run a well established training program covering
Textile Fibres, Dyeing, Printing and Finishing. These part time, tutored
learning courses are held at and administered by the Textile Technology
Department of the Durban Institute of Technology.
Lectures take place on Monday evenings over a three-year period.
On successful completion of the courses qualifying students are eligible
to apply for the Society of Dyers and Colourists, United Kingdom,
Certificate In Coloration, which provides academic entry into Licentiateship
of the Society, a qualification which is recognised worldwide.
The courses qualify under the governments SETA training programme,
employers may reclaim course fees.
