Dear Members,

Just a huge THANK YOU to all of you who took part in our Golf Day this year - I believe everyone who took part had a great time in spite of the rather oppressive heat - I'd love to hear from you to see what you thought of the new venue, and whether you'd like a repeat performance if we can wangle it next year ...

I have to note some specific "thank you"s:

Without doubt, the first on the list is Susie Ratcliffe - for putting together the bulk of the organisation around the day before she and Nigel went overseas, not to mention negotiating affordable rates with the club to take the edge of expenses for everyone involved. I just had to fill in the blanks after she left, and she even made it easy for a non-golfer like me to get that right! A pity they couldn't share the day, we'll just have to time things differently next time!
