CV of speaker – Adine Gericke

Adine Gericke grew up in the Western Cape and studied at the University of Stellenbosch, where she completed her BSc Honours degree cum laude. Her career started at Pep Manufacturing where she was laboratory manager for five years. She and her husband then moved to Bloemfontein in the Free State, where she worked as agent for a number of textile mills and got involved in teaching textiles. Since then she held teaching positions at the University of the Freestate, Free State Technicon, University of Pretoria, National Acadamy of Fashion, University of the Western Cape and Stellenbosch University.
